  1. 1. I would defend it, because the teacher is the one that made the initial problem. She didn't know the way things went around there and made a bad decision. She also didn't try very hard to understand the problem and resolve it .

    2. I would dispute it, because there is nothing wrong with Walter doing that, he knows he might never get the chance or opportunity to eat there or have molasses ever again. He is using his one chance with good intentions and he knows it is a once in a lifetime experience. I really don't think scout should have said anything about what he was doing.

    3. I would definitely defend it, because they have their own society within themselves. Everything they did was fine in their family and nobody around them had any problems with it. I would let them break the law or break the law myself to help them out. I would risk a lot before i would let kids go without food. If that is what was needed to be done i would have no problem with it.

4.I would dispute it and defend it. I would dispute it because she didn't really try very hard to understand what scout was telling her, and the rules of that society. she needed to learn about how the people acted and what they did before doing anything. It was also wrong for her to tell scout that her dad couldn't teach her to read anymore, she didn't know who her dad was or anything, she was just jealous.
I would defend it though because she did try to be nice and give Walter the quarter, she tried to do the right thing and know what she was doing it just wasn't working for her.

  2. 1.I would defend it because Miss Caroline Fisher was being all high and mighty and it made it hard for Scout to explain. In Scout's fiost grade mind it was Walter's fault that she had to try and explain.

    2. I would dispute it because Walter might not get molasses again for a verry long time and she should just let him be.

3.I would defend it because the children need to eat even if it is wrong.

    4. I defend her on one point, she is new. And I dispute her because she doesn't know that Atticus can't teach.
