Be good today. You did an AWESOME job the other day so keep it up and I'll be back tomorrow.
All of you take a few moments and write a narrative about something that happened during Homecoming. Be specific and thorough, using lots of description!
Stuck about what to write? A great play in one of the games? Your date's dress and your time at the dance? Seeing the parade from a float rather than the street? Watching Mrs. V getting smacked in the face with a volleyball....the options are endless.
Shoot for 15-20 minutes of writing. Wow me and then get ready to read as a group.

ReplyDeletethis weekend during homecoming which was last weekend that just happened two days ago just now like last weekend, we had the funnest game of the season. because we pounded them 48-0 but the score wasn;t the best part of the it was the best tackle of the game and it happened like this. We're all lined up for kickoff me and trent on the right side and Lane kicked off the tee and i was sprinted running as hard as i could when the ball runner started coming my way and i thought to my self this is either gonna be real fun or its gonna suck real bad. So i hit him as hard as i can at his thighs and the next thing i knew he was over me than in front of me now i thought he got away but what had happened was when i hit him at his legs trent had hit him up high and it was sick that was basically i had ever high-lowed someone in a game and it was awesome. Ya trent got all the credit because everyone saw him it but me and trent knew it was all me....
ReplyDeleteOver the homecoming week i was sick and it sucked. I got to go to the homecoming game and I enjoyed watching the pirates kicking the crap out of the indanians. The dance sucked so I left. They dint play good enough music at the dance so I left.
ReplyDeletesup duke we had alot of fun this weekend and the best night was friday night because we went water balloning and it was fun but we were driving and were were chasing trent and the cop pulled us over and he walks up smileing and all he says is get ur tail light fixed....... ps mary jo is being very mean

ReplyDeleteMy homecoming was extremely busy.
I just so happened to get sophomore attendant. Saturday I had to get all dressed up in my awesome black and hot pink dress for the parade.
*yay :/
I have had to be on the band float since sixth grade so it was extremely weird being on the royalty float this year. :)
Being royalty was crazy! First, I had the parade. Then I had to go to the bed and breakfast to take pictures, and I have never ever seen so many people gathered around to take pictures. So that was a different experience.
Then I went home and tried to relax before I had to go back out to the field for practice, but that didn't work out so well.
Then I went to practice and stayed there to visit until Royalty started, then I had to show off to my moms friends.
After that I went home to get changed and try to EAT because I has starving, but after I changed I had to get back to the field because my mom was complaining and I had to get back for pep-band.
Then after the game was over I had to get packed to go to burlington with my friend.
When I got there everything pretty much calmed down... for the most part.
But I'm getting kicked off so yeah,

Ah! Float Building Day is always fun but this year somethng happened that makes me very happy indeed. This year our class did not fight at all, all day long. we left the school in groups of two or three, I personally opted for a ride in Mrs. Monks's awesome truck. When we all got there a calm seemed to come over the palce even though there was a busy chatter and teenage laughter. Everyone chose a job that suited them and did it. And for this class that is saying something. We got done so fast compared to last year. we even had time to go get more wood. it was a day of being care free, almost falling out of the back of the truck and being a class instead of enemies. I hope this happens again cause it was AMAZING. Keep it up guys Plase
ReplyDeleteThis weekend at the football game i had a buncha fun playes. Even though there was a lot of fun plays me and kopen had a really cool play together!!
ReplyDeleteAs my metal cleats pound the ground of the foofball field i jogged to the opposite sideline. We had just scored our fourth tuchdown and it was kickoff now. I stepped onto the 45 yard line and strapped my helmet down. Sweat ran down my face as i turned to face the man across from me. He was bigger, stronger, older, and had more experience than me, but i had to beat him somehow! the wistle blew and Lane glansed down the yard line to see if everyone was ready. Kopen stood seven yards in front of me as i stood facing the field. we were both ready! Lane started to run to kick the ball and i took off. Not looking back for one moment i sprinted down the field. As i got closer i met the first kid trying to block me, i hit him and got knocked down. As i rolled over and started to crawl up from the ground i noticed that the ball was coming right towards me. I was moving as fast as i could to get to him wheni saw kopen fly in front of me. He didn't get him all the way down but had his feet wrapped up. So i gritted my teeth and took two steps to meet the kid right on the sideline. i had hit him right into their sideline and as i started to stand up i had a great feeling. I looked over my right shoulder and saw kopen running right beside me. i could tell he was thinking the same thing i was, we are studs!
Why did Jem have to read to Mrs. Dubose for a month and an extra week?
